Ashlyn Naidoo - Founding member

Mr Naidoo obtained his LLB degree from the University of KwaZulu Natal in 2014. After serving articles for a period for one year under Singh and Associates, he was admitted as an attorney in 2017. Mr Naidoo possesses a dire passion for criminal law, labour law and litigious aspects of Commercial Law. Mr Naidoo has worked closely with highly respectable Senior Counsel Members in various matters and has sound knowledge of High Court and Magistrates Court litigation.

The firm has two legal secretaries and is further closely associated with the following colleagues.

Urvashi Singh

A thoroughly experienced litigator, whom of which has run trials in both Magistrates Courts and the High Court. While she sees the courtroom as a second home. Urvashi is further a registered Debt Counsellor and her enthusiasm for the legal profession has recently allowed Ms Singh to sit as an assessor in the Durban High Court. Urvashi has enjoyed the confidence of many successful entrepreneurs and continues to do so both locally and abroad. As a trusted advisor she has had a positive impact on many success stories and continues to provide the best support and advises to ensure lasting legacies.

Anitha Khedun

Who has thirty years of experience in the field of conveyancing and property law. Her knowledge and skills go over and beyond that of a conveyancing secretary. Anitha has handled portfolios of small and larger enterprises, who is a detail orientated perfectionist that is able to deliver on agreed deadlines even whilst under pressure.

Ashmeri Singh

Is junior partner at Singh & Associates. She obtained her degree at the University of Durban Westville in 2004. Ashmeri has knowledge and experience in Social Development matters, Debt Collection, Administration of Estates, Civil Litigation, Road Accident Fund Claims as well as Family Law and Property Transactions. Ashmeri has acted for local and international investors as well as listed and unlisted corporate clients, pension funds and insurance houses.

Shika Siverpersadh

Has sound knowledge in Criminal proceedings and has successfully concluded numerous Conveyancing matters. Ms Siverpersadh has been in Criminal litigation for many years and has a well-established track record, further she possesses an exceptionally well-grounded knowledge of the various court proceedings.

Hassan Cassim

Is an Expert in Labour law who subsequently has attended various Labour disputes in and around KwaZulu Natal. Hassan specialises in all types of labour matters, with a particular focus on employment litigation including Commission for Conciliation, Mediation and Arbitration (“CCMA”), bargaining council, Labour Court, Labour Appeal Court, High Court and Supreme Court of Appeal cases.
